Would it be possible to add a clear rule on the use of special figures like Peasant Guides and Messengers?

Are they always allowed? Or are they only allowed with opponents permission? Or are they banned from the tournament?

You can always use them. Some players decide not to use special miniature if opponent does not have one.

On my last tournament in Poland I found out that rules for peasant informer are different in Polish and English version. Basically in English version peasant informer doesn't block forced march. I think we need clarification on this.

Cheers,
Mattski.

Yes, the rules for special figures in general suggest that they can always be used, but I'm wondering whether that is really sufficient for a tournament environment in particular? For instance, in terms of balance, I wonder whether it is really the purpose of the figure to allow a ford on a river to be made even more difficult to cross, thus having a huge impact on the river scenario's.

Do you remember duel between Konrad and Juha during the last Championships in Wilanów?
This year we have a plan to organize small fencing tournament for participants of the Championship (18+ years only!) as a side event. We hope that weather will let us to do it :)
