During the years of BFaS development we have created many miniatures of historical commanders.

Most of them have been available so far only at the Division level though. We would like to change that, so we've decided to adapt most of them do Task Force level.

Some of commanders will receive their new Task Force, some of them will modify existing ones.

Robert Douglas will modify Swedish Home Defense Task Force. Changes are already available in the Army Creator (please note we have added this Task Force to Army Creator!).

You can also download Douglas' rules from our website

http://www.fireandsword.wargamer.pl/ind ... itstart=10

If you don't have miniature of Robert Douglas in your collection you can receive him from us if you place an order for By Fire and Sword products for at least 40 euro in our Polish webstore. Please just type "Douglas" in the field for remarks while placing your order. An offer is valid till the 16th of October.

The task force with Tugay-bey looks interesting (as always). Two minor points though. The 'That miserable infantry' rule mentions the Tatar elite cavalry from level III, but they are on level IV. Also the note for buying the two extra bases for them is in Polish, not English. (It says 'Przyboczni beja').

Also waiting for Bohun ;-)

Yes, the pdf is fine, it's a small mistake in the Army Creator.

Let's back to publishing rules for special miniatures
available - so far - only at Division level :)

This time it will be Cossack Colonel Ivan Bohun. He can command not only Task Force but also the Skirmish Force :)

http://fireandsword.wargamer.pl/index.p ... 7:bohuneng

His rules are also aleady implemented to the Army Creator.

http://ac.fireandsword.wargamer.pl/index.php

If you don't have Bohun's miniature you can get them from us if you place an order for BFaS product worth of at least 40 euro and type "Bohun" in the fields for remarks. Offer is valid till the 20th of March.

If you own Bohun but need an excuse for buying some miniatures ;) you may swap him for Cossack Witch, Ataman Tomaszko or Old Cossack musician (those models don't have rules but can be a perfect addition for commander base).
