Seems sensible. Thank you :)

Another one: A unit standing in front of Impassable Terrain (eg a river) looses Close Combat and enters Flight. How does it move? The river is fare enough away so that no enemy unit is within 2cm of the Fleeing unit but close enough that the Feeling unit will touch the river before all Movement is used up.

Good question. We have played a unit that must flee into impassible terrain is routed and removed as casualties.

Tatars have to check motivation every time they get hit by black powder weapon. Does this also happen when they get shot while charging and the enemy has an defensiv order and delays fire to the time of the charge...does that mean that a tatar unit that allready engages the enemy and then was hit by a black powder weapon has to test moral and eventuelly breaks off the close combat?

And, does this rule works if you get hit by pistols in close combat?

I would say yes to all the above. But not for using pistols in close combat because this isn't real shooting but a modifier of the close combat to-hit roll.

Anytime shot at within "Effective" Range so yes to all except pistols in close combet. That is, as BL stated, a skill modifier.

The main difference with other units is that Tartars need to test for the loss of a single hit, while other units only test when losing a base.
Also remember that they won't get the -1 for loosing a base (unless they did), so their test is slight better than normal (since then you'd have lost a base and thus get the -1 modifier).

All additional reasons for Tartars to be sneeky and move into your rear. ;)

Cheers,
Zagin

Buildings increase the armor of infantry inside to 6. Apply this only for shooting or additionally for close combat?

Does the War Wagon Tabor has flanks in case of shooting? Thats: Does an enemy unit get the Flanking Fire bonus if they shoot at the Tabor from the side? Or does it get the bonus from the front? Or nothing?

Still no answer? But here i have another one:

Just to be sure:
The -1 to-hit modifier is for shooting is received in the Shooting After Movement Stage regardless if your unit has actually moved or not. Correct?
Also if a unit has a Defence Order and uses the Change of Position special maneuver once it still shoots in the Defenders Fire Stage without modifier. correct?
