The General also has a Command Radius of 30cm.

Sadly I have yet to paint up a lot of models to reach Task Force level :D

I'm really impatient to see the rules, so thank you for this quick overview ! For the moment, I've just read the lists (the only thing I could understand in the Polish pdf). I like the idea to recruit squadrons instead of 3-base units with this larger size game and the introduction of supply points.

By the way, is there a plan to introduce this kind of recruitment at the divisional level in the forthcoming faction books ?

No, divisions will stay as they are.

It is very interesting.

I like that there are Supply Points you can spend for equipment like spears, arquebuses, kalkans, etc. Some units cost FSP AND Supply Points. You get more Supply Points when buying Transport Wagons but also looses Reconnaissance Points because of the wagons and/or artillery or other high profile units. Some units like Scouts and Dragoons give extra Reconnaissance Points.

Each force has a vanguard of 1 or 2 units which fight against each other in "Turn 0" which influences the amount of Reconnaissance Points.
Both players can now use Reconnaissance Effects but you generally gain only a few points.

You can buy a third or even 4th Sub-Commander.
You can use Medium Cannons and other units which are normally not available on Skirmish Level.

Your don't field Banners/Companies you field Squadrons. Usually 1 in the Vanguard, 3 in the Main Force and depending on list you can buy 3 or 4 additional Squadrons.

As in Division Level you have Morale and Break Points. Some units (Transport Wagons, Elite units, etc) are marked with one or two stars which means when something bad happens to such units you will loose additional Break Points. Once the Breaking Points of the Task Force are gone each unit has to perform a Morale test or Feels without any possibility to rally. Also you can't rally or reorganise units anymore.

Nice summary. I missed that last part when I dug in about not rallying or reorganizing. Crazy! I am really looking forward to playing this mode.

Reorganization is possible until the Task Force reaches its break point. Then it starts testing every turn and can't reorganize.
It's a spin on how regiments break. Instead of by regiment, the whole task force has a shared breaking point. But once reached, each unit tests independently.

Yes. If the Task Force reaches its Breaking Points you can't Rally or Reorganize units anymore. And each unit has to test morale every turn or it flees.

oooh
nice
I like the concept, I thought the individual breaking points per regiment were weird, unless maybe for allied regiments

Mattski and I have played quite a few games now, testing out what works and what doesn't. It doesn't take much longer than a skirmish game to play, it can in fact be much shorter as we found out this weekend when I wanted to try something out that at the skirmish level would have been ok ... my army was fleeing at the end of turn two :(

Things that work well are artillery and infantry, they can now do something as opposed to in the skirmish game their role is much more limited. Some of the nicer troop types are available but be careful with them or it hurts your motivation massively!
