Painting is advancing and I came to read rules of azabs once again.

It says this rabble can contain both shot - armed with poor quality handguns or bows and warriors armed only with melee weapons.
Shot can be in front and shoot with all its shooting dice - or warriors can be in front - when shot can only shoot with one die each.
Here is the question - can azabs carrying firearms really shoot from second - and further - ranks or is this rule only written for the bow armed azabs.

If they can - does this mean second ranks of other firearm carriers could also shoot? I thought with firearms only front rank ever shoots unless using countermarch, salvo or ranked fire?

It's like Cossack Moloitsy. It doesn't matter if you have bows or firearms. If you have the warriors in the front then the 2nd rank is shot and can shoot with 1 die. Of course 3rd and further ranks can't shoot.
