Read that among the troops going over to the Swedish side during the Deluge there were also Winged Hussars which is very interesting and previously unknown to me. But did they actually ever take part in active duty for the Swedes in battle?

I'm partially asking this for some friends who became curious about this as well when I told them they could field a Crown regiment of cavalry - but couldn't for certain say whether they would be able to use the Winged Hussars as well.

Nope, they didn't. Our husaria in Swedish service did have some limited service during Time of Troubles.

....along a similar line of question. Did any Swedish regiments of foote fight for the Polish Crown?

If so, do you think it possible that opposing Swedish Pike and a Shot units could have engaged in combat against one another?

Cheers

None of the Swedish regiments fight for Poland or Lithuania. Of course, as it was typical for that period, ex-Swedish soldiers taken prisoners were enlisted into P/L units (infantry, reiters and dragoons), there's even evidence of some companies deserting from Swedish army 'en masse' and being enlisted into Lithuanian one. But it was never to scale of whole regiment, so Swedish regiments didn't fight against each other.
