And a few more questions, sorry:
The musketeers use " commanded musketeer rule" = no pikemen. So when I buy a regiment I just discard the pikes in the companies?

Also: Only one dragoon and one musketeer regiment. Is that in the whole force or just the extra regiments?

Would it be better fo me to look at some normal divisions like field division?

This division is quote special, so you may want to try some generic first ;)

Regarding questions:
1. Yes, you just use musketeers only, no pike.
2. 1 infantry regiment and 1 dragoon for whole division.

@DonCanzino

Commanded Musketeer - you detach only 1 or 2 companies per regiment, only from musketeers ofc.

I am amazed a little bit that asking "where to start" you focus on problems with divisional level organization (like Invincibles). In "Western pattern" division you need a regiment of reiters (or two) - so it's at least 2 boxes of them - and a regiment of infantry or/and dragoons. And that's needed almost regarless what you want to play ( iconSWE, iconDAN, iconHRE or iconPRU ).
I would just start dealing with some boosted skirmish set to feel a game. If you want to feel differences between factions (not participationg in tournament), after few games you can agree with your folks, that this time your forces play as iconDAN and not as iconSWE for example. And you can after that choose your final faction buying another command blister.
That's my personal thought from gamer's expirience and of course can totally ommit it :)

Cheers!

Witold, you may want to double check the topic before you will give answer that have nothing to do with question ;) DonCazino is asking about Special Rule in 'cavalry' division from Invincibles.

Witold I hear you.
It's just that the last couple of days a few more from Denmark has chimed in, and it seems like we're heading towards divisions. That said I'll probably start with a reiter regiment or the skirmish set.

Skirmish is the best start, as give you 'feel' of the game, is very easy to expand and all minis are usable later for division. So alway win-win :)
