Lol so I was right first time. Good to know. I was searching for descryption, but it looks like in this case their weapons are the answer.

Stats are identical with the exception that Mercenary Reiters can have arquebuses if the list allows it. Eric Jöhnsson's list allows arquebuses so they are Mercenary Reiters.

Hope this will be clarified in an errata or something, as it is not clear on the PDF right now (even with weapon description). But at least now we know. :D

By the way; it is correct that only the command has banners in the Recon Skirmish?
If a unit carries a banner, is that given in the name as "<unit_name> banner"?

Sorry, for all the questions, just want it to be clear. 8)

Not much to clarified, as stats are the same and cavalry units (except some guard-type)didn't wear 'uniform' that will make any distinction. Real difference would be rather on regiment level or in such skirmish when only merceneries can have specific upgrades.

Polish or Lithuanian banners (equivalent of company) can have banners/standars, You can even do that for Your reiters but it will not make any difference battle-wise. It's only for Your own visual pleasure :) Normally only commanders have standards on their stands in this game.

Thank you, Kadrinazi for your explanation. 8) Still need to better clean my models, redo the base layer, but I am aiming to have my force painted before the end of January.

I do have another question concerning Reconnaissance Points.

There are 14 cavalry bases = 14 Reconnaissance Points. (I assumed the Commander doesn't count as cavalry base for calculating recon points.)
When running three squadrons (1st Reiters, 2nd Transylvanian Light Cavalry, 3rd Mounted Cossacks), the recon points will be 17 (+1 "Light Cavalry" from Transylvanians & +2 "Scouts" from Mounted Cossacks)?

Just looked over this list the other day and it looks like fun!

Just a quick question ... for the Cossacks in this force ...any suggestion of what pack I need to buy for these guys?

Agreed it makes them better than average on the defense then. The list is a fun oddity but not really a cut throat tournament list when you can take defensive skirmish lists and buy kobylice.
