Just finished painting these.
It struck me, when I was finishing the models, that I should have painted two more bases to make the base units of streltsy prikaz.
I´m going to paint all the options from Muscovite Skirmish in Karelia, so I needed eight bases of streltsy for that.
I´ve still got to paint 8 bases of orthodox peasants, 5 bases of dvorians and 6 bases of cossack boatsmen. That should take about a month or so with my current timetable.
Then I can start experimenting with the skirmish list.
We have a gentleman's agreement with Juha; We will not play with unpainted miniatures. :D

Kiitos ja moi!
Samu

They look very nice! I will try to be patient while waiting to see the rest. 8)

By the way; missed you guys last week at Warsaw airport when I was eating a burger and drinking a beer at the restaurant we were. Missing my drinking buddies. :D

Looking very good Samu.

And I agree with the not playing with unpainted figures sentiment. Even though it can be a burden ... all those nice things, but not painted yet. ;)

Cheers,
Zagin

Those look truly wonderful, but the bases really detract from the miniatures, in my humble opinion. They're way too thick. :|

Yeah I have heard that a lot about the bases. They are six mm thick.
They rank nicely and are easy to pick up and move on the tabletop.
It's just a matter of taste. I like the bases as they are.

The funny thing about the bases is that they look way better in real life. Yeah, it is pretty thick, but the distraction is way more obvious on the picture than on the table. :D That is just my humble opinion.

Hope we will meet indeed coming Spring. Hopefully we can bring Hrothgar and his Muscovites with us. 8)

Meeting again would be very good!

Perhaps we can induce even more to come. Make it a Dutch invasion. ;)

The tournament in Warsaw has already got a spot in my agenda. Now hoping real life will not screw it up.

Cheers,
Zagin
