Lookin great, keep up the good work!

I find those bases gorgeous, and much more practical than casual one when you have to move them.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion on bases of course. The miniatures themselves are painted gorgeously. I'm slowly starting to warm to Streltsy, but not sure if they're worth spending a regiment slot on in a Muscovite division?

You weren't rude Hrothgar. I wasn't offended in any way. I'm just so used hearing about the thickness of my bases that I have a ready answer. And like we see in the comments on this thread it is a matter of opinion.

Thanks for your kind words about the painting. I really liked to paint the streltsy. I've got 14 more bases of them to go tought I have never used them in a division game. The minis are just so nice I had to get them. I think I try to use them 10 bases strong and place them in ambush next time I play a division sized game. I hope they will be a hard force to move.

Cossack boatmen finished. Next ion the painting table: 8 bases of orthodox peasants. I'm saving the best bit; five bases of dvorians, to last.

There are some pictures of my Muscovites and Swedes in Our Armies section. I need to improve my picture-taking skills and find a better environment for taking them.

Kiitos ja moi!

They a mix of different sets. I got some of these as a prize from the historical army lists competition. Some are from my own collections.
The most of them are registered Cossack I think. Then there are some Muscovite border and field dragoons and a single peasant partisan and one Cossack skirmisher and a single seimeni figure.

Wait till you see the orthodox peasants. They are a bit of everything.
