Very interestring info on Vlad Velikanov's blog, if you're looking for historical names for your regiments:

Yes, that site is amazing and this specific article will really help me. Now the challenge will become to match these names to specific banners.

Thank you very much for pointing that out. I already had seen some of his pages, but since most are in cyrillic, most are unreadable for me. This one though is a beauty.

Cheers,
Zagin

I grabbed some Field Dragoons today at Crisis and am wondering how to paint them.

Some of the examples of painted units of those who got them from the Kickstarter, show units in uniform outfits and uniforms. White kaftans, red trousers and green hats for instance. Is this historical or should they be a mix and match of different colours? Would anyone have any examples of the uniforms of historical units?

Would I be safe in using some of the colour schemes for Streltsy?

Sounds way too colorful. IIRC dragoons weren't issued with uniforms, and as the Field Dragoons (unlike the Border Dragoons) aren't sculped with uniformly cut kaftans I would suggest a mix of greys, browns and various drab colors. Here's an example of what I mean, taken from the 2009 movie Tsar (yes, I know one shouldn't use movies for historical reference, but I believe they represent period peasant garb much more realistic than most wargaming tables):
