I've been playing and painting BFaS for two and a half years. These are all my Muscovites I've managed to paint up to date. Image

I still don't have enough for division. I need more reiters and boyar sons and cannons and soldats.
More stuff would be ready if I hadn't ventured to other projects. Last two and a half years I've painted about 80 28mm samurai and peasants for Ronin, 30 28mm gladiators for god nows what and a force of 15mm muslims to Saga and Lion Rampant. And made a lot of terrain to all above.

Kiitos ja moi!
Samu

Liking the sight. Already a nice force.

Not even enough for a minimum division?

Cheers,
Zagin

Sure I could field a small division, but it would lack the heavy hitting components.
I've got zavoivodichy (or something like that), six bases of dvorians and three medium guns and about eight light guns to paint. And that's without the soldats, which I would really like to include as the main regiment for the division.

Indeed a very nice & impressive army again! A really nice collection of painted miniatures. Good luck on everything else. 8) We will be waiting for the pictures impatiently.

The correct transliteration of Завоеводчики to English would be Zavoevodchiki or Zavoyevodchiki; however the Russian names in the rulebooks seem to use Polish transliteration or inflection (which makes them difficult to use in search engines).

Impressive force though. I notice that you have based the Streltsy Golova as a foot commander base instead. Which makes sense, given that the Golova in the regimental list should be mounted. What irritates me though is that there are no other ways to obtain these figures since the rules state you need one foot commander base for every 3–5 infantry bases (i.e. 2–4 foot commander bases for a regiment).
