How do you guys tend to use Azabs in your army (if indeed at all)?

Do you use them more as melee infantry? So you go with swords and spears, or polearms? Seeing how they're the only melee focused infantry the Ottomans have I was curious.

Is it worth using them for ranged combat, or am I better off using Segbans for massed fire and then using Tufecki and Janissaries for more specialized shooting?

Not having insubordinate or robbers makes them seem like a clear choice over Segban when the option comes up.

Segban create reconnaisance points unlike the azabs.
Segbans have not been doing any great results - they have mainly been a unit to pin down part of enemy while cavalry tries to actually fight.
My azabs have not seen much action yet, so no experimental data.
Janissaries I have tried using as melee capable infantry taking houses - with not very great results yet.
