Hi everyone,
The osprey book ( and at least one figure range) show cossacks armed with musket and bardische axe.
Can anyone confirm if that was the case, or was it just imagination?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Peter

There was no standard equipment for Cossacks, so everything is possible, especially once Cossacks became Muscovite allies.

What do you mean by 'cossack foot' in P-L army? Registered Cossacks prior to 1648?

It's fine, just wanted to clarify. Yet again, they most likely will not use bardich as well, although weapons were really individual case for each Cossack.
