I decided to paint my order Tokens and give them a protection case (23mm-Coin case). The front ist just red so that my Opponent cannot predict the order.

Good idea about the coin case. I haven't painted my order tokens because I was thinking using them would then quickly wear them. Putting them in a coin case would put an end to that. Oh, and nice work on those tokens too.

Think I will be stealing this idea as well. :D Before I was thinking of putting a layer coat over the coins, to protect them, but the cases seem to be a better protection. Sure, bulky, but no fear of damage.
That said, the same color around the rims is also a good one. I did think about making sure the sides of the coins are securely painted the same color, but wanted a different color for the orders themselves. But putting orders down might risk my opponent sees the color before I can put it down. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Great idea about the coin cases. I would recommend these even if you don't paint them. Handling bare lead will rub off toxic lead carbonate on your fingers, which might get ingested if you eat pretzels during the game. At least give them a thick coat of varnish (possibly after a black wash) if you don't want to paint them.
