Hi comrades,

The question regarding fielding of named characters.

At online stores sets of characters show them standing on separate round bases.
Is it possible to use them on those round bases as token and put them near to the main command base? This will show that the main leader is that particular person.

The idea was born because some of the characters can lead both skirmish warband and task force, which means that they should be mounted on 3x4 and 4x4 bases. So we should have couple of the same models :|

Thanks!

Sure you can, it's just a token after all, however those minis come without any base

Historical Characters replace the Commander miniature on the Commander's base.

Special Miniatures like the Peasant Informer don't need a base.

So I have to have two models of the same historical commander if I want to use him in both skirmish and task force levels?

Officially yes because of the different base size.

But @ your local club I guess it wouldn't be a problem to use one base size for both games.
Or just model it on a smaller base and put this on the bigger one for the TF battles.
Or try to magnetize the guy for switching.
