Last year I decided to make a big effort to assemble and paint some of my BF&S minis. I did this by following a self-imposed 100 day challenge. Nothing too onorous, just a commitment to do something everyday for 100 days in a row (barring illness or travel for work). Sometimes I would get a lot done, but more often it was just cleaning up or preparing a few models at a time.

I managed about 60 days before other commitments interfered, but in that time I managed to assemble, undercoat and base 219 cavalry (73 bases), 135 infantry (45 bases) and 6 light artillery.

On 1st Jan, I restarted the 100 day challenge after seeing Samu's awesome Muscovites. Any day that I play a game of BF&S now also counts towards the 100 days.

So far I have played a demo game (Swedes and Tartars) and assembled some mounted szekely handgunners, seimeni and haiduks. I want to have a fully painted Transylvanian task force ready when the rules are published.

I will try to post some pictures later in the challenge.

Thanks again Samu for getting me motivated!

Wonderful! Just keep on painting and share pictures of your army.

Thanks for the compliments.

Btw I'm also painting Transylvanians atm, but only a skirmish force. I'm trying to get them ready for grand tournament.

Kiitos ja moi.
Samu
