Since the interference in the 'Deluge' by the Habsburgs was not an Imperial issue, only Austrian troops were used.

After the Thirty Years War Austria created a standing army (march 1649): 9 cuirassier regiments, 1 dragoon regiment, 9 infantry regiments and a small artillery train.
During the period multiple regments were created, which disbanded for the most after the end of the war, or after the following war with with the Ottoman Empire (1663-1664).
Wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_Army_%28Holy_Roman_Empire%29 ) states that 49 regiments were created, of which 23 remained in 1660.

So far, I've still to find a good list of which regiments went to Poland and Denmark.

Cheers,
Zagin

Prussians had their own army of course, Croat units were not fighting in Poland (although as far I remember there were some present in corps in Swedish Pommerania and Denmark), Hungarians were defending border from Turks.

Some of the Austrian regiments that were present in Poland during the war, some of the later fought in Pommerania and Denmark:

I. Cuirassier regiments (N - new, O- old)
- Heister (N)
- Ratschin (N)
- Garnier (N)
- Sporck (O)
- Gonzaga (Braida) (O)
- Götz (O)
- Piccolomini (Caprara) (O)
- Montecuccoli (O)
- Knigge (N)
- Heister (N)

II. Infantry regiments (I cannot find full list that I made some time ago, once I locate it I should be able to update this)
- de Souches
- Nicola
- Baden
- Conti
- de Mers
- la Cron

III. Dragoon regiments:
- Flettinger
- Spankau

Love it. But more excited to see the new Cuirassier set and the new armored Cuirassier with Arquebus!

It was an intersting read.

That's one of things that is good about BF&S. There seems to be a continual effort to provide historical background to much of what is being produced.
