Right now my army are the swedes but they are unpainted and I see that they can be used for danes as well so I figured I would wait with painting them until I find out more about the danes.
I see there is a book called Danish Wars which suppose to add some army lists.
How are they ? Are they any good ?

Well fun to play is always the most important aspect of an army and I find armies that are more flexible and offers a varied amount of builds to the more fun army to play.
I know Sweden does have that but might be more Sweden-players in my group and as the rulebook stated, it's more fun if people play different armies.

Danes are a bitless quality then Swedes. But they have Snapphanar and lots of infantry. I find this interesting.

A bit less? Danish national reiters have Poor Tactical Discipline, whereas Swedish reiters have Good Tactical Discipline. That means they are at an automatic -2 combat resolution in any straight up fight, which is a pretty big drawback.

Of course, they are better at other things, but at skirmish level, this is a big problem.

But Danish mercanery reiters don't have PTD - national ones are more like Swedish Adelsfana :)

And Danes are not as expensive as Swedes, have more bases and don't have the "Bellum Se Ipsum Alet" special rule, which really, really, really sets me back personally with my magnificent bad rolls. :D
