Very nice army, but it's a glass hammer. As long as You can attack it's very powerfull. I played ambush against them (with Orris as commander) and my ass was kicked extremly hard. Swedish reiters were unable to do anything becouse of heavy loses.

Wonder how they play against Polish-Lithuanian forces (which I will 'soon' experience myself). In the little experience I have of the game, I realized Polish-Lithuanian forces need the attack as well (for advantage of lances etc.) and must cause heavy loses in the first round of combat to avoid getting stuck. 8)

We have to take a note I was playing Pillage Foray back then. The second one (with Skill 5 cavalry) is not so glass but still a hammer ;)
Lances are very powerful weapon and Transylvania has a lot of them. It's very specific army and has to be played more (especially during tournaments) in order to discover new tactics. Hills, any formation you need (infantry, light cavalry, shock cavalry, dragoons, elite infantry etc.), mentioned before lances and ambush make multitude of options to be used in battle.

Just play with proxies and share experiences! :)

I have a question about the Comitatus Forces Sereg as I was laying down the miniatures for my division.
The Comitatus Forces Sereg has the Gate Cavalry (& Infantry). It is not clear to me which unit this is, as there is no Gate Cavalry in the statistics. Is the Gate Cavalry the Chimney Cavalry of page 215 in The Deluge? 8-)
