Hi guys,

Small update. We will not use night attack scenario, basically you can re-roll any night scenario result. Let me know if you need to borrow any models, I may be able to help :D ( iconKOZ iconRON iconSWE iconTAT ) I strongly advise to use By fire and sword army creator to make your list. It is very easy and usefull tool.

Merry Christmas! And see you in two weeks!!!!

Thanks,
Mattski.

Hello again

I have sorted out some figures and trying to get lots of paint [well at least 3 colours and some basing) on them but that is not the point of this post

but I know I need up to 3 lists so is there a sweet spot of 'X' FSP's for a game?

Should the list be very different (unlikely by me, don't have the spare time to paint that much horse) or would it be better to prepare for a small force say 4 FSP, than a medium size (say 7 FSP) force and finally an "all the toys in the box" list?

I appreciate that the more there is on the table the slower the games will be so I'm most likely to prep for just the first 2 lists

PS will the table be set up with scenery etc. or do we need to bring that as well?

I would say that it all depends. If you prefer being a defender you can't go with points to higher than I would say around 7-9 FSP. If you want to be more aggressive then you can go as high as you want.

My sweet point is 10-11 FSP but everyone likes different things :D and then again all depends on what you prefer. Usually I'm trying to make all my lists similar, but sometimes I run three completely different lists. After few games you will find out different lists work better against different armies.
Some people are playing only one list, it is all up to you.

We have some terrain and there is some terrain at battlefield hobbies so you don't have to bring your terrain.

Cheers,
Mattski.

Happy New Year to all!

Great news that Iluzagin will be with us!
Sadly in last days we had a few drops. A month ago I was thinking that we had so many Ottomans players... Looks like some kind of nasty tradition that every year we are loosing all Ottoman players. We lost James,Jack,Oliver and Gajowy. I hope there will be no more! iconSPARTA

See you all on Sunday!

Thank you Mattski for organising this and also to the rest of you kind gentlemen for making the day so enjoyable.

So, next year 6th January 2019?
and I will try to get some more people to come from the far flung south of England

We will rescue the wooden spoon and take it to its rightful homeland south of the Thames
